Ear Training, or Solfeje is a music education method used to teach the difference between pitches in music, variety of rhythms, and sight singing.

A syllabus is assigned to each note of the scale and by using Solfeje the child learns to recognize every note visually, hear it and sing it.

The process is a wonderful way that trains the eyes to recognize each note as it occurs, as well, as train the ear to hear the pitch.
